Program OVERVIEW

The ATD Atlanta Mentorship Program is a structured, cohort-based development experience that connects emerging and established professionals across talent development, HR, and organizational leadership.

Participants receive:

  • One-on-one mentorship

  • A supportive cohort community

  • In-person learning labs

  • Virtual touchpoints

  • A capstone experience that highlights growth and impact

The 2026 program blends live workshops, guided mentor/mentee conversations, and strategic networking to help participants build clarity, capability, and confidence in their careers.

This year’s program is sponsored by The Best Workplace (TBW) and Nelius Strategy (NSSS), who co-design the experience and provide in-kind support, facilitation, and tools.





MENTOR RECRUITMENT EVENT

ATD Atlanta – Senior Leader Mentor Preview Mixer  

Date: Tuesday, February 17, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Total Wine – Akers Mill Square

This invitation-only mixer is for senior leaders and subject-matter experts who are interested in serving as mentors in the 2026 program.

Attendees will:

  • Connect with other high-caliber leaders

  • Learn about the Mentorship Program structure and expectations

  • Explore what it means to be a mentor in this cohort

  • Indicate interest and availability to be matched with a mentee

Light refreshments provided.
Hosted in partnership with ATD Greater Atlanta, The Best Workplace, and Nelius Strategy.

    These sessions are open to ATD members, non-members, and the mentorship cohort. They are the core “anchor moments” of the program.

    Ideal mentee candidates are:

    • Early- to mid-career professionals in talent development, HR, OD, leadership, or related fields

    • Seeking clarity about their next steps and support in building their path

    • Open to feedback, reflection, and stretch assignments

    • Ready to engage consistently with a mentor and cohort


    Ideal mentors are:

    • Senior leaders, people managers, or experienced subject-matter experts

    • Able to challenge, stretch, and support developing professionals

    • Comfortable sharing real-world experiences and strategic perspective

    • Committed to modeling leadership, communication, and professional excellence



    REGISTRATION & PRICING  

    The four in-person sessions (Kickoff, Check-In 1, Check-In 2, Capstone) are open to the broader ATD community:

    • ATD Members: $25 per in-person session

    • Non-Members: $40 per in-person session

    • Mentorship Program Participants: Free (registration code provided upon acceptance)

    Mentors and mentees accepted into the program will receive instructions on how to register for sessions using their program code.

    The Event Series Sponsorship for the 2026 Mentorship Program is already secured by The Best Workplace and Nelius Strategy, who serve as the lead partners for the program.

    Additional sponsorship opportunities are available for organizations that want visibility at individual learning sessions and capstone events.
