
Often change management is centered around the outputs and the destination rather than the people that it will take to actually get there.
So why is something as dynamic as change managed vs. embraced and accelerated? This session will provide a deep dive that will include the types of resistors to change, a creative way to approach communication, leveraging technology to drive adoption, and most importantly getting people around you to be the advocates for change.
Program Description: The session begins with an energetic reality check on change and why management is never the goal. Through a series of micro sessions, participants will leave with a different perspective on how to actually be change makers in their spaces.
Participants Will
1. Form a basic understanding of the type of people they'll encounter when implementing change and learn how to address them early on.
2. Form a basic understanding of a simple framework to inspirational communication in a way that informs, motivates, and reassures all parties involved and impacted by change.
3. Form a basic concept of how to use technology to support change as opposed to it being the solution for change.
