Invitation-Only Gathering for Prospective Mentors

This invitation-only mixer is designed for senior leaders and subject-matter experts who are interested in serving as mentors for the 2026 ATD Greater Atlanta Mentorship Program.

The Learning Leaders Circle, a mixer to bring together experienced professionals across all industries who share one thing in common: the ability to challenge, stretch, and elevate emerging talent.

During the mixer, you’ll connect with fellow leaders, learn about the 2026 Mentorship Program structure, explore expectations for mentors and mentees, and discuss the kind of leadership we want to cultivate within our community.

This is not a general networking event — it’s a curated room of leaders who shape culture, strategy, and careers.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Hosted in partnership with ATD Greater Atlanta, The Best Workplace and Nelius Strategy.


Mentor Preview Mixer — Participation Criteria

This invitation-only gathering is designed for senior leaders who meet most of the following criteria:

Professional Experience

  • Senior Manager, Director, or Executive-level experience
    (or equivalent leadership scope in consulting, academia, or entrepreneurship)

  • 8–10+ years of progressive experience in one or more of the following:

    • HR

    • Talent Development / Learning & Development

    • Organizational Development

    • Leadership Development

    • Workforce Strategy or People Operations

    • Other areas are welcomed 

Leadership Scope & Influence

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams, functions, or enterprise-wide initiatives

  • History of influencing strategy, culture, or capability-building within an organization

  • Comfortable providing thoughtful challenge, perspective, and guidance to emerging professionals

Mentorship Mindset

  • Genuine interest in developing others, not recruiting or selling services

  • Willingness to commit time, presence, and perspective as part of a structured mentorship experience

  • Open to learning across generations, industries, and lived experiences

Professional Alignment

  • Alignment with ATD’s values of integrity, inclusion, and professional growth

  • Interest in shaping the future of the HR and Talent Development profession in Georgia

Program Intent

  • Attendance signals exploration and discernment, not obligation

  • Participation in the mixer does not require a formal commitment to mentor but is a prerequisite for consideration in the 2026 Mentorship Program
