What is Employee Learning Week?

Employee Learning Week (ELW) is an annual global awareness campaign, held December 7–11, 2026, that highlights the vital link between professional development and organizational success. Sponsored locally by ATD Greater Atlanta, ELW encourages Georgia-based companies to bridge the skills gap by rededicating themselves to the growth of their most valuable asset: their people.

How to Participate in ELW Atlanta

Organizations can participate in Employee Learning Week by hosting internal workshops, virtual learning sessions, or community-wide off-site programs. Whether you are a "team of one" or a global enterprise, there is a place for you to showcase L&D best practices:

  • Where: Events can be hosted in-office, virtually, or at specialized off-site venues.

  • Who: All Atlanta-area organizations from tech startups to non-profits are encouraged to participate.

  • How: Rededicate your team to learning by sharing success stories or piloting a new curriculum.

Thank you for celebrating learning with us! I hope Employee Learning Week becomes a fantastic opportunity to promote the great work your talent development team (or team of one!) does at your organization!
