What scholarships are available for L&D professionals in Atlanta?

ATD Greater Atlanta offers two distinct scholarship paths: The Robb Bingham Professional Development Scholarship and the Executive Board Leadership Scholarship.

  • The Robb Bingham Professional Development Scholarship: Awarded to active chapter members currently working "in the trenches" of learning and development who seek to advance their skills.

  • The Executive Board Leadership Scholarship: Dedicated specifically to the professional growth of leaders currently serving on the ATD Greater Atlanta Executive Board.

Who is eligible for an ATD Atlanta scholarship?

To qualify for an ATD Greater Atlanta grant, applicants must be members in good standing and be enrolled in a program focused on workplace learning and talent development. Eligible programs include:

  • Academic Degrees: Undergraduate or Graduate programs related to HR, L&D, or Organizational Development.

  • Professional Certifications: Certificate programs that sharpen your technical or facilitation edge.

  • CPTD Credentials: Programs specifically focused on earning your Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD).

How do I apply for an ATD Greater Atlanta scholarship?

The annual scholarship application window opens on October 1 and closes on October 31, with winners announced at the December Chapter meeting.
